Section 1.34. Prohibition of blank writings.

Blanks relating to price, charges or terms of payment which are inapplicable to a transaction must be filled in a manner which reveals their inapplicability. Pursuant to s. 422.304 , Stats., a general clause or statement in a contract to the effect that spaces which are not filled in are inapplicable to the particular transactions does not satisfy the requirement of this section and may not be relied upon by the creditor.
