Section 8.03. Function of mediator, effectuate settlement.

Upon the consent of the parties to mediation, it shall be the function of the mediator to bring the parties together voluntarily under such favorable auspices as will tend to effectuate the settlement of the dispute, but neither the mediator nor the board shall have the power to impose a settlement upon either party.
