Section 202.09. Maintaining and improving a state scenic byway.

Designation as a Wisconsin scenic byway is not intended to prohibit or affect future roadway design or construction and does not change the existing state or federal classification of the highway. Designation as a Wisconsin scenic byway shall not be a factor in department decisions on whether or not a highway improvement project is necessary or appropriate for the designated highway.
