Section 150.04. Audit and inspection authority.

The department may audit and inspect the facilities and records of an owner, lessor and lessee to verify compliance with the requirements of this chapter. Owners, lessors and lessees shall retain all records including lease agreements relating to the lease of vehicles by private carriers for a least 4 years, and shall make these records available to the department for inspection and copying upon request.
