(1) General. This is a department rule in addition to the requirements in IFGC section 303.1: If the air entering the heat exchanger of all gas–fired equipment is 30 o F or lower, the heat exchanger and burners shall be constructed of corrosion–resistive materials.

(2) Prohibited locations. The exceptions 3. and 4. in IFGC section 303.3 are not included as a part of this code.
