Section 364.0918. Forced-air warm-air furnaces.

- (1) This is a department rule in addition to the requirements in IMC section 918.6: The outside air intake openings shall be located at least 12 inches vertical from the adjoining grade level.(2) Substitute the following wording for the requirements in IMC section 918.6 item 2: Where located less than 10 feet above the surface of any abutting public way or driveway, or at grade level by a sidewalk, street, alley or driveway.
