Section 364.0506. Commercial kitchen grease ducts and exhaust equipment.

- (2) Joints, seams and penetrations of grease ducts.(a) This is a department alternative to the requirements, but not the exceptions, in IMC section 506.3.2: Joints, seams and penetrations of grease ducts may be made with any other means that provide a liquid-tight seal at 1500 o F and that are listed and labeled for the application.(b) This is a department rule in addition to the requirements in IMC section 506.3.2.: Duct joints may also be flanged joints.(c) The requirements of IMC section 506.3.2.5 are not included as part of this chapter.
