Section 362.3001. Elevators.

(1) Referenced standards. Substitute the following wording for the requirements in IBC section 3001.2: Except as otherwise provided for in this code, the design, construction, installation, alteration, repair and maintenance of conveyances and their components shall comply with ch. SPS 318 .

(2) Change in use. Substitute the following wording for the requirements in IBC section 3001.4: A change in use of an elevator from freight to passenger, passenger to freight, or from one freight class to another freight class shall comply with ch. SPS 318 .
