Section 192.303. Judges' duties at events.

- (1) Once assigned to an event, a judge has all of the following duties and responsibilities:(a) Shall render an independent decision at the end of each round of each bout.(b) Shall give their score card to the referee at the end of each round and at the end of the final round of an amateur mixed martial arts event, who shall transfer them to the inspector assigned to the event.(c) Shall use the 10-point must scoring system as defined in the ABC's unified rules to determine the result of a bout, and their decision shall be final.(2) The department shall assign the judges for an event. The department may not assign a person to act as a judge if it has reasonable proof that the person has any of the following characteristics:(a) Is not competent to act as a judge.(b) Has a conflict of interest.(c) Has been subject to a disciplinary action by the department or another jurisdiction that prohibits the person from acting as a judge.(3) All judges are independent contractors and shall be assigned at the discretion of the commissioner, or department representative.
