Section 500.11. Enforcement.

If the department has reason to believe that a violation of the requirements of ch. 289 , Stats. , or chs. NR 500 to 538 has occurred, it may take enforcement action as authorized under subch. VIII of ch. 289 , Stats., or as authorized in applicable enforcement provisions for landfill and solid waste disposal program requirements in chs. NR 500 to 538 .
