Section 237.02. Applicability.

This chapter applies to any facility which manufactures pharmaceuticals by fermentation, extraction, chemical synthesis, or mixing, compounding, and formulation or conducts pharmaceutical research and which discharges or may discharge process wastewater pollutants to waters of the state or introduces or may introduce process wastewater pollutants into a publicly owned treatment works.
