The purpose of this chapter is to establish procedures for implementing a lake management and classification grant program as provided for in s. 281.69 , Stats. Grants made under this program will assist management units in conducting activities that will protect or improve the quality of water in lakes, the natural ecosystem of lakes or the uses of lakes.
