  • A closed season is established in the following areas which are posted with U.S. fish and wildlife service signs. No person may hunt or trap any species of wild animal at any time except that hunting or trapping is allowed for all species but ducks and geese during the seasons established in s. NR 10.01 , but only from the day after the final closure of the duck season as established in s. NR 10.01 (1) (b) , until June 15. Legally killed or crippled game may be retrieved from these areas by dog or hand.
    (1) Buffalo county.
    (a) Lost Island (Pool 5). Township 20 north, range 12 west, town of Belvidere and township 20 north, range 13 west, town of Waumandee.
    (c) Peterson's and Reich's Lake (Pool 4). Township 21 north, range 13 west, town of Alma, and township 22 north, range 13 west, town of Nelson. - See PDF for diagram PDF
