Section 102.20. Purpose.

The purpose of this subchapter is to establish water quality standards for temperature pursuant to s. 281.15 (1) , Stats. Water quality standards for temperature shall protect fish and other aquatic life from mortality, immobilization, loss of equilibrium, impaired growth, adverse reproductive effects, and other sub-lethal effects.
