Section 139.07. Directors of environmental health programs.

  • The director of an environmental health program shall be one of the following:
    (1)  A public health sanitarian who is registered under chs. SPS 174 to 177 and has 3 or more years of progressively responsible full-time experience in a general environmental health program in a public health agency.
    (2)  A public health sanitarian who is registered under chs. SPS 174 to 177 , with a masters degree in environmental health, public health, public health administration, health administration or a similar field, and has 2 or more years of full-time experience in a general environmental health program in a public health agency.
