Section 124.41. Rural health plan.

Before implementation of the state medicare rural hospital flexibility program pursuant to 42 USC 1395i-4 for the establishment of critical access hospitals, the department shall develop a rural health plan. The department shall submit the rural health plan to the federal centers for medicare and medicaid services for approval.
