Section 58.01. Authority and purpose.

This chapter is promulgated under the authority of ss. 48.57 (3m) (i) and 227.11 (2) , Stats., to establish criteria and procedures for determining initial and continuing eligibility of a relative who provides care and maintenance for a child to receive a monthly payment to help with the expenses involved in providing that care and maintenance.
