Section 8.02. Licensing requirement without examination.

- The board may grant a license to practice cosmetology, aesthetics, electrology, manicuring, or to practice as a cosmetology manager without examination to a licensee of another state provided that the following conditions are met:(1) The board has entered into a written reciprocal agreement with the licensing authority of another state, where the education and services practiced are substantially equivalent to those in Wisconsin.(2) The applicant holds a current license in the other jurisdiction.(4) The applicant has at least 4,000 hours of experience in licensed practice.
