Section 11.11. Deer closed area; trapping permitted.

A closed season is established in the following areas posted with department signs. No person may hunt any species of wild animal thereon, except waterfowl during periods established in s. NR 10.01 (1) , during the open gun deer season established in s. NR 10.01 (3) (e) . In addition, a closed season is established for archery and crossbow hunting of deer beginning the Saturday immediately following the close of gun deer season and continuing through December 31.
