Section 17.02. Special permit.

The division may, on application, grant a special permit to a savings bank or affiliate of a savings bank to exercise trust powers. The division shall review and make a determination on the application within 30 business days of its receipt. Except as permitted under s. 214.04 (10) and (22) , Stats., no savings bank may exercise trust powers without obtaining the permit.
