On October 13, 2016 , t he Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1) , Wis. Stats.

The proposed rules affect Chapters NR 20 and 25 , relating to Cisco Harvest in Lake Superior .

A related emergency rule, Em R 1627 , affe cting the same Administrative Code provisions contained in this proposed rule and relating to the same purpose has been published and is in effect.

Statement of Scope

The scope statement for this rule, SS 053-16 , was approved by the Governor on June 3, 2016 , published in Register No. 726 A 1 , on June 6, 2016 , and approved by the Natural Resources Board on June 22, 2016 .

A public h earing is required and will be held on November 14, 2016
